The following is a complete list of all the gear I carry with me during Walking Home (snacks excluded). Most of the equipment I decided on after extensive research. Often I went for the lightest alternative or for the brand that has a well-documented track record of high quality and long-lasting products. Other times I already owned a piece of equipment. In those cases I usually didn’t replace it, for financial reasons (the camera being the only notable exclusion), for the possibly better alternative.

I hope to find the time during the trek to write some reviews. Stay tuned…

Trekking gear:

Even though camping is not part of the plan I am prepared for the worst case scenario and can prepare simple meals as well as set up camp under the stars.
