I have probably had a close to perfect day at the Southern tip of Africa: went to the beach, watched stingrays in Struisbaai harbor, had delicious pancakes at Sugar & Spice, got dropped off at the ship wreck, walked barefoot most of the time cause my flip-flops broke, saw Cape Agulhas and where the Atlantic meets the Indian Ocean, climbed up the second oldest operating light house in South Africa, swam in the tidal pools, had hake and calamari at Agulhas Fisheries, chatted to a lovely local who took me back to Struisbaai, bought new flip-flops and am now enjoying a Black Label.
Tomorrow I’ll get back on the bus to head up to Durban with a quick stopover in Port Elizabeth.
