In a way Dahab is any travelers’ nightmare: expensive restaurants (set up for tourists only), souvenir shops and touts at every corner. But there is no denying the beauty of the surrounding area: after we had climbed Mount Sinai we snorkeled in the amazingly blue waters of the Gulf of Aqaba.
