December 23, 2011. Long time no see! – Partially due to the request of higher forces than myself and partially due to the lack of internet access in the past weeks.
We left Burkina shortly after my last post after spending some relaxing days in Ouaga. Ever since we’ve worked our way down from Northern Ghana to Accra: Mole National Park (where we didn’t see elephants again), waterfalls, Kumasi, bush camping in the (almost) jungle, the Baobeng Monkey Sanctuary (where we saw lots of holy monkeys), Cape Coast, Elmina, lots of not so good roads but excellent food (if you can get over the spiciness…).
For the holidays we’re heading up the coast to just outside Cape Coast. It’ll be quiet, relaxing and at a beautiful beach.
Afterwards it’s time for Lake Volta.
And before you know it we”ll be in Togo….
