The joys of camping: Bush camp outside Meknes, Morocco

Where is it?

Latitude: N 34°/ Longitude: W 5°/ Altitude: 546m

When did we stay there?

20 to 21 October, 2011 (1 night)

What can you expect?

It’s a bush camp. So expect to walk a bit until you find a place to utilize as toilet, expect no shower, expect surprise visitors and to be surrounded by sheep when you get up in the morning.

None. Maybe one: the nearby mosque guarantees you don’t miss sunrise.

Outside world

Olive trees. Pine trees. Sheep. Donkeys. Volubilis and Meknes are just a couple of hours drive.
