After making the decision to go to France on foot I needed to choose a route.

A while ago I had read about Christopher Wallace who created GPS drawings of animals and monsters by mapping out routes on the PC and then riding them on his bike. I liked the though of it.

“home“ was the only logical word for my quest. It carries with it the relationship with most of my relatives, my close connection to my wonderful sisters, my dad’s constant interrogations about when I’ll finally move out of the shared into my own apartment, the feeling when travelling, the wish to make a living out of it.

All that is “home“.

And it’s also a four letter word that can be written with one pen stroke.
