Due to diverse visa applications our Bamako stay is longer than most other stops. So we took the opportunity to get a pig and spit roast it for the family of travelers at the Sleeping Camel. I not only got to go and buy the pig straight from possibly the only pig farmer in Bamako but also helped in the roasting preparations and fixed some delicious salads. A very memorable day.
