August 4, 2011. Still in Berlin. After spending a lot of yesterday online trying to figure out how to get through Mauretania to Senegal and on to Ghana and on to Namibia (obvious choices would be flying, travelling on a boat, um freighter, or finding a group to travel with) I had to make a tough decision: and since I still have no desire to risk my health (yup, I still am a single white lady travelling on a budget) I decided to go down the West Coast on an organized overland tour. African Trails is company of my choice. Will have to move quick here to get all visa done within the next 8 weeks. But will tell you more about how, when, where, why in the coming days.
